Things have been pretty quiet here at the shrollyblog, but rest assured that we have all been quite busy. Paloma is growing up at lightning speed, and is rapidly approaching the big 1st birthday! Instead of focusing on the more traditional milestones such as talking or walking, Paloma has been focusing her efforts in a more specialized area. It’s a little rough around the edges, but coming along nicely. And as an added bonus, clean windows!

Very rarely, something tickles Paloma into hysterical laughter. I’ve probably seen it only two or three times, and I’m thrilled that we finally caught it on video. Check it out!

We’ve been trying to get Paloma accustomed to food for the past month. I think the first day was probably the best, and it has degraded from there. This movie is a case in point. I have to admit, though — it is pretty funny.
Paloma’s been babbling of late. It cracks me up (what can I say, I’m a doting parent!). But, of course, the second you pull out a camera to record the event, she stops and decides to be fascinated by the camera instead of her voice. This time, I just recorded her.
Paloma was chewing on my finger yesterday, and I noticed it was a bit sharper than usual. I wasn’t able to get a good look at her gums, but Katie did and she says two teeth are coming in!
